Pick those competitors' websites that you are most
interested in, then drill down into their websites
to identify the most noteworthy web pages to track.
Your competitors may keep much of their most interesting
information on web pages deeper within their website.
These web pages tend to be dedicated to their: product/service
mix, press releases, news articles, marketing &
sales tactics, upcoming event plans, partner &
client information, staffing announcements, financial
reports, customer care & support information,
webcasts, company blogs, or other key information
areas of interest to you.
Make us aware of any special requirements
We want to tailor-fit a web page monitoring solution
to your specific needs. Let us know of any special
requirements that you have in the following areas:
- tell us how often you would like the web pages
to be monitored: each web page can have its own
unique schedule, with the monitoring frequency being
up-to-the-minute, hourly, at a specific time during
the day, or perhaps on a specific day of the week;
- if the web page is password protected, supply
us with the username and password;
- when your interest is restricted to a certain
portion of a web page, let us know what that portion
is;
- if you want us to ignore changes to any portion
of a web page, tell us and we'll ignore that portion;
- if you only want to be alerted when certain keywords
are part of the changed content on a web page, let
us know what those keywords are;
- let us know if you are interested in being alerted
when content is removed from a web page even though
no new content may have been added;
- if you want us to ignore removed content we can
do that as well;
- provide us with a list of the e-mail addresses
that should be alerted when any web page changes:

Select your list of search terms
For the trial we can search for up to 12 search terms.
We create one daily scan for each search term that
you are interested in. Multiple search terms are satisfied
through multiple daily scans (usually one scan for
each search term). These terms may include (but are
not limited to):
- company names -- these could be competitors, clients,
partners, suppliers, regulators
- product or service names
- technology specific names or terms
- names of company personnel
If you are unsure of which keyword combinations might
best meet your requirements, describe the subject
area of interest and your specific information requirements
relative to it. We will happily suggest some keyword
combinations that you can try. During the course of
the trial we can adjust and fine-tune the search criteria
as appropriate.
Target mainstream online news sources and/or
blogs
We can search mainstream online news sources as well
as blogs. If you are interested in having a specific
search term tracked against both mainstream online
news sources and blogs, we will create two distinct
scans for you. These two scans would then count toward
the total of twelve daily scans for the trial. So,
for example, if you have six search terms and you
would like us to scan both the mainstream online news
sources and the blogs for those six search terms,
that would count as twelve daily scans for your complimentary
trial.
Delivery tailored to your time zone and organization
Please let us know which time zone you are in so that
we can schedule the news scans to run for you on each
of your weekday mornings.
Each news scan can be sent out to multiple email
addresses (at no additional charge) and each news
scan can have its own distribution list. Let us know
who you would like on the distribution list for each
news scan and whether you prefer English-only results.
